Aesthetic optimisation

Aesthetic surgery includes all the services that are not necessary for treating a disease. These treatments are meant for aesthetic optimisation, and sometimes, this could also be a combination of aesthetic optimisation and correction of a health problem.

Reverse Facelift

One speciality of the Klinik Professor Sailer is the reverse facelift, wherein the facial tissue is firmed up from the inside. This gives rise to a younger look that far surpasses all other methods and lasts life long.

Dimples

One exclusive feature of the Klinik Professor Sailer is the creation of dimples on the chin and cheeks. Dimples give an extremely charming aspect to a smile .

Nose operations

Nose operations are always a special challenge, because they need to bring both the aesthetic aspects (form) as well as the function (breathing) into harmony. Prof. Sailer has 30 years of experience with both purely functional operations, such as straightening the septum, as well as aesthetic interventions (e.g. reducing hooked noses).

“We have only one aim: maximum safety and satisfaction of our customers.” (Prof. Sailer)

The counselling session

Based on our many years of experience, we advise every patient who is thinking of an aesthetic intervention to first meet us for a non-binding and introductory counselling session. The meticulously conducted counselling session is in most cases the basis for the subsequent, successful operation planning discussions with the concerned experts.

Do sign up for a non-binding appointment! We will be happy to counsel you intensively, so as to ensure optimum treatment. With Dr. h. c. Schwob you can first participate in an information session to learn more about the options available today for aesthetics, and discuss your aesthetic desires.

Your preparations

Latest by the time you have decided to undergo a beauty operation, the search for a doctor you can trust begins, and with it starts the problem of choice:

  • Who has the required clinical experience and the scientific background that are needed to be able to conduct your operation in a competent manner?
  • Besides extensive training and an exhaustive number of challenging operations, who can also boast of a certain aesthetic passion?

Only a face to face planning session with the doctor of your choice will help you get clarity over these issues. Do support your doctor and other specialists actively during the planning:

  1. Write down your personal questions before the meeting. Prepare your list in such a way that the you can also jot down the answers during your dialogue with the doctor. Make sure that all your questions, even the uncomfortable ones, are answered. If necessary, repeat your questions.
  2. The discussion should be comprehensive, without any pressure of time and aligned with your individual needs. If you are not sure, take along a friend, your partner or any other person you trust.
  3. Get a detailed explanation of the anaesthesia or other methods such as artificial coma/deep sleep, analgo-sedation etc. Get information about the duration of the out-patient treatment or hospitalisation, the course of recovery and healing, the type of post-operative care and the subsequent examinations.
  4. In any case, obtain a detailed, individualised treatment plan. Do not hesitate to ask for another meeting if some things appear still unclear to you afterwards.
  5. Ask about the methods and the techniques, which your doctor will be using to treat you and whether these have been tried and tested and recognised scientifically. Do not hesitate to ask your doctor how often he has performed the operation you desire; do not try to get this information from one of his assistants. Ask the doctor to show you photographs of the patient before and after the operation.
  6. Ask about the possible measures before the operation, which could have a positive influence on the final result. This includes, for instance, information regarding nutrition, medicaments, movement, avoiding sunlight and special cosmetics. Here, too, you can rope in specialists from other complementary areas.
  7. As a patient, you should pinpoint as accurately as possible the things, which bother you personally, and also why exactly they bother you. Outline your own expectations with regard to the desired result, so that what is feasible in terms of medicine can be aligned with your ideas and expectations.
  8. Make sure that you are given enough time to think over your decision and that the time of operation is selected optimally in view of your personal and professional situation.
  9. Plan for adequate time to recuperate before and after the operation and get information on how long you will be required to avoid appearing in public.
  10. Involve your immediate circles in your intention to change your outward appearance. Because not only you, but even your environment will be influenced by the results. Think especially of your partner, your children, your friends and your colleagues at work.
