Reverse facelift
Patient with receding lower face, on whom a pre-operative orthopaedic treatment was done on the jaws, followed by surgically assisted palatal expansion …
… and finally a rotation advancement (bimaxillary advancement) and chin advancement, to make up for the facial growth.
Reverse facelift as conducted by Prof. Sailer opens up a new dimension for incomparable enhancement in attractiveness. There is no question of any visible scars, since the intervention is carried out from inside the mouth. The natural facial expressiveness is retained. The heightened attractiveness and more youthful appearance achieved by this method are far superior to what can be done with all the other measures. The procedure brings in a fresh attractiveness, which may not have been there even in younger years.
Forehead lift
Lifting the forehead and/or the region of the eyebrows to firm up the skin on the forehead and to lift dropping eyebrows through a minimally invasive intervention through the scalp under hair cover.
Blepharoplasty (eyelid correction)
Removal of excess tissue from the upper lid (drooping lid) or lower lid (lacrymal sacs). Depending on the degree of difficulty, the skin, musculature and fat tissue will have to be removed. Caution: Often, a brow lifting may be necessary before a blepharoplastic surgery (or simultaneously). In the case of lower eyelid sacs, Prof. Sailer often uses a transconjunctival access on the inner side of the lower lid without any visible scar formation.
-
Before: Patients with normal teeth after orthopaedic treatment of the jaw, but skeletal recession of the lower face before the operation.
-
After: Very attractive appearance after a reverse facelift and cheek-bone enhancement.
-
Before: Before the operation.
-
After: After the operation.
-
Before: Patient presented herself with the desire for a facelift that would not have produced any acceptable results, though in view of the disrupted growth.
-
After: Through a reverse facelift (according to the Sailer procedure) with jaw rotation, all the superfluous soft tissues disappeared without any external scars; the physiognomy was rendered harmonious and the visual effect was equivalent to knocking off 10–15 years. Unlike conventional facelifts, whose effects disappear after 2–3 years in most cases, the result achieved here is lasting.
