Enhancement, reduction or other form of definition given to the chin by operating on the bony part of the chin. The intervention takes place solely from inside the mouth, without giving rise to any visible scars. No artificial chin implants are recommended, since these could lead to bone resorption on the chin and are often movable. Especially in the case of the “diminishing chin” very attractive profiles can be created, giving a more emphatic physiognomy.
